Over 3,200 lots will be offered including USA, British & Worldwide singles, covers and country collections. Session I begins on Friday, February 23rd at 6pm (CT) with USA Singles & Sets featuring many early Classics, plus nearly 80 U.S. Graded stamps. |
One of the highlights of the USA session is a 1908 1¢ blue green, Franklin horizontal coil pair (Scott #318). This stamp has a 2006 PF Cert, and is very fine for this notoriously off-centered issue. This rare issue is missing from even the most advanced collections, and estimates for $20,000. Another highlight is a red 1915 Washington 2¢ coil line pair, Type I (Scott #449). This well-centered example is in mint, never hinged condition, and also estimates for $20,000. It is accompanied with two PF Certs, and catalogs for $32,500. |
