NOW HIRING: Junior & Senior Lot Describers

LOCATION: Hiring for both gallery locations in St. Louis, MO and Beverly Hills, CA
HOURS:  Full time, Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm (plus some Saturdays in conjunction with auctions)
COMPENSATION:  Commensurate with ability, fully paid health insurance; IRA Retirement Plan
You will be trained to appraise and describe Stamps & Postal History while assisting in the auction duties in the office.
Duties Include
1. Stamps lot describing will be your primary focus 4. Dealing with consignors and customers
2. Maintaining and organizing auction lots in our gallery 5. Some travel to appraise consignments, and help at Trade Shows
3. Helping with setup & viewing of our auctions
 Job Requirements
1. Passion for Stamp collecting a must! (incuding familiarity with Scott Catalogs)
2. College Education - Bachelors Degree
3. Good basic writing skills important
4. Ability to lift some heavy boxes (up to 40lb)
5. Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook)
6. Ability to deal with the public in person, on the phone and in written correspondence
7. Native level English language skills
8. Strong organizational skills

NOW HIRING: Auction Administrator

LOCATION: Hiring for both gallery locations in St. Louis, MO and Beverly Hills, CA

1. Entering & maintaining auction bids 5. Answering phones and other administrative duties
2. Maintaining and organizing auction lots in our gallery 6. Maintaining spreadsheets
3. Helping with setup, viewing and administration of our auctions 7. Shipping
4. Dealing with consignors and customers 8. Some travel to pick up consignments & help at Trade Shows
 Job Requirements
1. College Education - Bachelors Degree in History, or other liberal arts area
2. Ability to write clearly
3. At least 2 years work experience
4. Ability and willingness to lift some heavy boxes (up to 40lb)
5. Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook)
6. Ability to deal with the public in person, on the phone and in written correspondence
7. Native level English language skills
8. Strong organizational skills
9. Sales experience a plus
10. Passion for collectibles a must!
